5Great Scale all the bio data I needJun 10, 2013
By Robert G. Samples "saluki bob"
I love this scale. I track my weight, % fat, % H20 and body type. I even take my records in to my annual physical and the doc at UCLA Med even uses Tantia scale. So my doctor loves having all this info on record. I highly recommend this scale.

3Very Accurate Scale and very attractiveFeb 07, 2014
By Jonathan Phillips
I love the 9 segmental body measurement it gives however i was taken aback when much to my dismay the Met Age on this unit only goes up to 50 years max. That was a deal breaker for me. I'm a health Coach and i use it as a means of gauging my clients by making recommendations for nutritional diets based on some of the results i get from the scale. But a lot of them are over weight and out of shape so their Met Age goes to 50 years max immediately, now it's kind of hard to really know who's closer to 100 Years old as opposed to whom might be at 51 Years. My colleague has a (BC1000) Tanita Scale but that one goes to a max Met Age of 90 years, which to me is acceptable.

5Whoever thought you could interact with your once hated scale and fall in love with a personal data generating machine.Aug 17, 2013
By Health Systems Management Network, Inc/tarantini
You have to ask yourself, "Why would I pay so much money for this product" Because it is more than a scale. You can be your own personal trainer and have all of the data you need to monitor your progress. Body fat content and memory that trends.

1These should work very accurately, but....Feb 23, 2014
By W. Nee
they didn't. Body fat measurements were inaccurate, and then the weight was wrong too. We have an older Tanita which has worked very well over the years. When weight was compared with the older model, this BC-549 would vary from +.2 lbs to +1.8 lbs. The old one, it measured the same weight each time. What has happened with Tanita? We bought our old one years ago and wanted to replace one of them (we own two), but couldn't find the same model. Reading all those 5 stars reviews makes me very suspicious as to their origin. We returned this one.

4Very accurateJan 01, 2014

When it first arrived I thought it looked a bit complicated. It takes some getting use to but it is very accurate and easy to use once you get the hang of it.
